Public RAO

The role of the Institution in issuing SPID
The RAO​ (acronym for Registration Authority Officer), as regulated by the AgID Guidelines, is the person responsible for verifying the personal identity of citizens who want to obtain the SPID. Any body that hopes to provide a service for the benefit of citizens, capable of laying the foundations for a continuous and modern dialogue with them, can become a Public RAO.
